I'm a kind of young computer enthusiast (14), but I have a problem understanding ram. I have a MSI Z97-G45 Gaming mobo and I dont know if it will support a 4 gb video card (Msi Radeon 270X 4GB). On the motherboard specs it says on Cnet:

GRAPHICS
Max Allocated RAM Size 1760 MB

Does this mean it can only support video cards up to 1.76 gb of video ram?
If you can help me, thank you.

Solution
No. That memory allocation is for onboard graphics. Meaning, the motherboard will use RAM not VRAM. It has no relation to any GPU you use. You can use any GPU on the market.
