Bran-noob alert!
I have just built a computer:
mobo: Asus m4a79xtd
gpu: Asus HD 6450 silent
cpu: AMD phen II 955 BE
psu: 500w Extreme power plus
HD: 250gig unknown left over from other build. This housed Ubuntu so I just went with it.
DVD, keyboard mouse, etc.
Im not using all of my screen, the video is not that great even though I have my GPU card connected through an HDMI cable to a 720p capable TV. I go to monitors and it has three different displays listed, but only one of them looks right. I think this may be a driver issue, but I have no idea how to resolve it with ubuntu because every machine before this has been windows.
Any ideas?
