[SOLVED] Help with VR Build

Never built a PC before, always been a laptop owner. Needing a mid-tier computer - am I on the right track?

Mostly worried about my pieces not being compatible

Your build looks fine except I would suggest a ram speed of 3200 at a minimum. 3600 is the sweet spot if you want to spend just a bit more. Otherwise it will do a fine job for VR.

Other people are going to say go with a B450 chipset based board to save money. If yo have the budget stay with the x570 imo. There are benefits to the bandwidth that we have yet to see and the Ryzen 4000 series will drop right in when you feel the need for a cpu upgrade.

I wouldn't go with the Crucial P1 or Intel 660p for OS drives since they're QLC. There's just much faster choices for not much more $$$

There are but the differences you experience are not really noticeable. Any good quality PCIe 3.0 NVMe would be fine.

I have a 3.0 Inland and a 4.0 Sabrent Rocket NVMe's.

I retract my previous comment since (in New Zealand) it doesn't look like there are many/any good choices that are less than 20% more expensive. Here in the USA, that's a different story.
