Hey guys, so I recently came across a picture of someones build. I would love to had this type of build. Only one issue. I don't want it to be water cooled. I'm not sure if I can do it not water cooled. So heres the case i'm looking at..

Thermaltake CORE P5 ATX Open Frame Mid Tower Wall Mount 180 Degree Liquid Cooling Gaming Computer Case CA-1E7-00M1WN-00 and here are my pc specs.

Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Corsair H100i GTX 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
ASRock Z170 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Avexir Core Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Sandisk SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Video Card
Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM (64-bit)
LG 25UM57-P 60Hz 25.0" Monitor

So I did my research and made sure all of these will fit. Now my only concern is, is the fan on the psu and the gpu good enough to keep it cool? Am I able to do this build without liquid cooling?, Am I going to need any case fans? and most important, is this going to work, or is thins going to be a waste of time and money?

The Corsair H series are CLCs(Closed liquid cooler) or AIOs(All in one - in other words - it comes with with the block, pump, radiator and fans).

As far as it goes for the PSU - 500-600W is good:

Corsair AX, TX, RM and their updated "i" series (avoid CX, CS and VS)
Seasonic - any bronze and up PSU
XFX - any 80+ bronze and up PSU
EVGA - G2 series
Rosewill Capstone
Be quiet! - any 80+ bronze and up PSU
Enermax - Platimax and their other 80+ gold series PSUs
Superflower - Leadex and their 80+ gold series PSUs

And, well, many more.
Yes, it is perfectly doable to use air cooling. Air cooling has superior noise / performance / price ration compared to the junk Corsair H series and other CLCs/AIO units which are extremely over hyped.

They say "CPU cooler height limitation: 180mm". That means - you can fit any air cooler on the market.

Top air coolers are:
Cryorig R1 Ultimate/Universal
Phanteks TC14
Noctua D14/D15
Thermalright Silver Arrow IV / IV-E / SB / SB-E
Be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3

Some smaller and cheaper coolers are in the likes of Thermalright Macho Rev.B / Macho Special Edition and Cryorig H5.

Unless you are aiming to get the physical maximum of your chip, or run at 4.7/4.8 GHz - AiO does not make any sense.

And as a 2nd tough - change that PSU. It is not a good choice.
