I just built my first computer and my last one was a prebuilt. That computer had a Wifi card that I have no uninstalled, however Im kind of confused now. The Card only had 1 slot for a cable instead of the 2 slots and 2 cables that I saw online and the cables go into parts of the case that I cant access without taking the case apart. The card only has the top right slot. The left one doesnt exist. There were 2 cables in the computer but I dont think the other one was connected.

My questions are , can I buy those cables and
how would I connect those cables to my ASUS Prime z390-a mobo? I dont see any of those antenna things on here. They werent on my old motherboard either though.

Solution
Give us a hint -- like the model of the old wireless card. Do you plan to reuse it or get a more modern card?

And no, the Prime z390-a does not have built in wireless, you need to add a PCIe card for that.
