Help with wireless AP set up

Just wondering if this is my best option. I have time warner wideband with a 50 by 5 connection and my whole 1800 sq foot house is wired.The motorola modem sbg6580 does not put out a good enough WiFi signal through the whole house. So setting up two wireless AP is that my best option for my wireless devices? What is a good router to put in AP mode? Alls I'm looking for is a Strong signal through the house for wireless devices. My TV 's game systems and media players are all hard wired. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try Buffalo high-power series? They have built-in amplifier.

Wireless AP's are the best and only way to go... I have used them in several businesses. I have used Linksys E1200's a few times and they are easy to configure and cheap!
