Help with Xeon E5450 on LGA775 - PC not booting

Today i got a replacement for my temporary processor which is Intel Pentium Dual E2180.
I bought Xeon E5450, modified to work on LGA775 without additional work to do, for Intel motherboards.
I replaced it, tried to boot my PC, but the processor wasnt doing anything. Those LEDs indicating that the computer operates and does stuff, were not blinking at all.
I tried to update bios and boot it several times, reset battery, but nothing worked.

Can you please help me?

My Motherboard is Intel DP43TF.

They used to make an adapter for 771 Xeons to 775 and you can mod the socket:

Would have been easier to buy an X3360, instead of trying to make a 771 work.

Yep as the adapter and the mods didn't always work 😉
