Hello all need some help please.Here is what is happening.If I go to control panel and the device manager in normal mode and scroll down to the sound,game controllers etc everything is listed normaly flt controls,sound card etc.Now if I go to the same place in "safe" mode I have all these extra things listed in the same place.

BDA SLIP DE-FRAMER
CLOSED CAPTION DECODER
MS-STREAMING CLOCK PROXY
MS-STREAMING SERVICE PROXY
MS-STREAMING TEE/SINK-TO SINK CONVERTER
NABTS/FEC VBI CODEX
WORLD STANDARD TELETEXT CODEC
Does anyone know what all these are and where they came from?Can it all be deleted safely?I do not remember downloading anything that these might be part off.Thank you.

REALLY? Man I'll boot into safe mode and see if I get something similar. But I don't think I will. That's weird! Maybe I just never noticed...

if you go into safemode, devicemanager will show all devices that have been installed, even if they are no longer present, for example if you change you cdrom drive for a different model, without removing the original from device manager, both the new and the old one will show up. If the items you list dont show in normal windows, then there should be no problem removing them.
