Guys i need help.

I play counterstrike a lot, but lately i got this strange crash!

Every 3 minutes or so (yeah, just enough to kill 15 people on FY_ maps ;-) )
counterstrike quits with an error that the is a problem with hl.exe launcer
orso.... i really dont get it!

I got a Nvida 4100 TI 128 mb vid-card, AMD Athlon XP, most recent drivers
for my vid-card. 512 MB DDR RAM memory. I have auto update on, so windows is
up-to-date..

Anybody familiar with the problem?

TIA

Sjoerd

dont use the latest drivers for your video card.
id suggest going back to 45.xx

new drivers do not offer any improovements to your card and are more likely
to make it unstable than anything else

Amen to that.
I've got an original Geforce256 32mb Sdram and running Nvidias 44.03 drivers
it's rock solid.

Also I recommend searching for and removing any old graphics drivers
manually first before any driver change. It can be a bit of a chore but
worth the effort.
