Hello,
I just installed a hibachi travel star 80GB HUD and has windows XP home preinstalled, into my dell latitude d610. I didn't add any other hardware. My old drive was a Fujitsu 30gb HD and used windows xp pro. What do I need to do?

You cannot add a hard drive with an operating system already on it into a new computer. You'll have to reinstall the operating system after the drive is installed.

Repair install of windows is sometimes enough. Start up from your win CD select install and repair after it recognizes a previous install.
