I bought a ASUS PH gtx 1050 ti and I’m not sure if I need to upgrade for it I have a amd fx6300 processor and a 500w power supply also a Asrock760gm-hdv
pls help me I’m new to PCs

The GTX 1050ti is a power efficient graphics card, so a 500W PSU will be fine. Having a good quality PSU is better.

Do you need to upgrade anything else? Depends on your usage, aims and expectations.

I just want to run Fortnite and a couple other games at at least 144 FPS on competitive settings also is there any cables that have to connect to power supply

What are you currently getting in the game? I'm guessing the FX-6300 won't be pushing those really high framerates. A new graphics card can only do so much if the current one isn't holding the CPU back too much.

I can get about 80 in game low setting /competitive setting with 720p resolution
But the new graphics card should help a lot because I get those while I have a gt 730

I tried that test and when I lower my stuff i I can get up to 144 FPS so I would think I need a graphics card upgrade and I’ll be able to run that on 1920x1080 but still I am going to uprgrade my graphics card because it will increase my performance by a bit
