So around 2 months ago the GPU i had just broke, like white lines all over my screen and running windows in 10 FPS. So i bought a new one i had some issues on set up but i fixed them and installed the proper drivers but as far as i know thats all the issues that my pc has had, and now for some reason i am getting the DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION windows error code around 2-5 minutes after start up, i did som looking in to it and it could be the fact that im running a grey copy of windows or the fact that my gpu is running at x4 instead of x16 and has been because i put it in the pcie 2 slot instead of the pcie 1, (i plan on switching that a little while after posting this) but does any one have any ideas of what could be the cause of this windows error or any fixes?

TLDR: i <Mod Edit> up some how and am now getting the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error code around 5 minutes after starting my pc
