my computer is on the fritz! As you can see something is very wrong.I don't usualy check my proc speed so i don't realy know when it happened or if it deacresed gradually or all of a sudden.Can you give me any advice how to solve this problem?

Ya know, we'd be better able to help you if you gave your complete system specs.

However, if your CPU is a recent Intel/AMD CPU, it might have a feature which lowers the clockspeed at low CPU usage to save power and heat.

my proc is an Athlon XP 2000+ I have 256 Mb of RAM ,nforce2 mobo and Gforce 4 .the bus should be 133 Mhz but it's 99 now. Should I increase the bus to match the specs[the multiplier is 12,5]
