Question Help!

Hey, I need a help! I am having problems with my second drive (Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 model number ST31000528AS) I first thought it was my memory bc I had like 3 different models of ram but same brand so I changed the ram. But it didn't do much so I checked the hdds the only drive I use to boot of from a WD Blue model number WD10EZRZ note was made in 2018. I soon realized it was the second drive when MSC (my summer car) kept crashing my windows it kept giving me this error code: KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR over and over

Have you tested your HDD with a diagnostic tool like SeaTools for Windows?

I use windows 10
System specs:
Core i7 3820 (second gen i7)
12gb of corsair memory
EVGA gtx 970 sc 4gb vram
Corsair water cooler (very clogged with dust)
And the 2 hard drives that I said above
The system is a pre-built by alienware
Full name is Alienware aurora r4 desktop

I could tell bc msc kept crashing bc of the same thing

And my pre-built had flagged them as having problems tho it is a del I mean alienware

Note the latest update for the bios is from 2014

As of rn I have the computer unplugged from everything to clean it from all the dust it has collected

I admit that I didn't do any research before using it

Given the age of that rig, the HDDs could have any number of issues. A clean install of Windows would be a good start, wiping all storage devices.

The boot drive is from 2018 and storage drive is from maybe Vista times

Boot drive is like 5 years old

Also the drives have important data that 2 tb wouldn't be able to be saved to any online services

Age of a drive can be indicative, but also irrelevant.

I've had brand new HDDs go bad at 5 weeks and 7 months.
