how can i get a system32\hal.dll on to my notino lap top it doesnt have a cd drive so i did a back up on a flash drive but it doesnt recognise any of it, just keep saying missing file

After placing the file in the proper directory you may need to manually "Register" the file so your programs can find it. Do a search for "registering a dll file for specific information.
