Heres the set up... win 7. trying to set up 2 networks. I have 2 wireless routers, a linksys wrt54g and a linksys n... here is what i am trying to do. I have a lot of backed up files etc that i need to be able to share with the neighbors on network 1 (g) this router DOES NOT HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION INTENTIONALLY. The second router 👎 is for our household internet. I and conneccted wirelessly to network 2 (n-with internet) and via ethernet to network 1 (g) They both work fine... UNTIL i try to use them both at once. Once i plug in the ethernet cable, that network takes priority over the other and i lose my internet connection. I have tried all i can think of (2 seperate local ip addresses reset both routers, even changing the adapters and bindings priority). Im stuck! PLEASE HELP!!!

It seems to me tthat the wired connection needs to have its own individual setup with different static IPs, as does the non-Internet router's connection. Use, says, 10.0.0.1 etc. for the non-Internet wireless, 14.0.0.1 etc. for the wired and allow automatic DHCP on the router with the Internet access.[/#000ff]
