So I am helping my friend select parts and build his PC. He wanted it to be a reasonable price and still be able to play most new games smoothly. I am very insecure about how it will perform and such. Can any of you perhaps give me some tips or tell me if there is something I should change? These are the specs I've chosen:
- CPU: Intel i5 - 8400
- Motherboard: MSI LGA1151 z370-A PRO
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 16gb
- CPU Cooler is included in the pacage deal.
- HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5"
- SSD: Kingstor A400 120gb 2.5"
- GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Armor OC
- NZXT S340 Elite Midi Tower
- PSU: Cooler Master MasterWatt Lite 500W
- And Windows 10

Solution
This is just to give you a part idea bout what kind of hardware to look for.

Improvements...
> SSD with individual RAM cache for faster performance.
> Non overclocking board for a locked chip.
> Better case and PSU for longevity and performance.

Location is Norway. And budget is around 10 000nok (Ca. 1225usd). The build I have chosen above is like a max at about 12-13 000nok. (ca. 1500-1600usd)

Thanks alot! I think I will swap the PSU for the Corsair TX550M, 550W PSU. Because the other one had alot of complaints about being loud.
