Helping a friend with his purchased mobo

Hi my friend is buying a biostar b250gt3 for his i5-7600k processor. Do we need to update the bios so that it can support 7th gen or they are ready to use outside the box?

Intel 200 series chipset motherboards(your B250 included) are ready out of the box for the 7th gen CPUs.
A BIOS update is not required.

I would avoid BIOSTAR boards , not great in terms of QC.

yep, i'm aware of that bro. anyway it's just for temporary use since my main motherboard which is asus maximus ranger viii is under rma
