Hello. I need help picking an ssd but I have specific needs

I am planning on picking a 256GB SSD to put in a sata to usb 3 enclosure. The reason I don't want an "only external" ssd is because I might plan to put the ssd into a machine later. When I read reviews they typically don't mention if the ssd would perform well in a sata enclosure.

I need an ssd that:
Has high write performance
Is durable (preferably mlc nand)
"works well" with a sata to usb 3 enclosure.

Any suggestions? I would like to see what is the best choice not concerning budget and a "budget pick"

Any SATA SSD will work well in a usb 3 enclosure. In most cases, the speed will be limited by USB3 and not the drive.
I would recommend the Samsung 850 pro for high performance and long life.
