From google - The AMD Radeon HD 6950 requires a 500W or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCIe connectors.

Do you have a PSU that can do this?

My psu is 600w with one 6-pin and 2x4pin male to pci express (had to connect that way because of single 6pin)

Where did you install the GPU ? That motherboard is only having one half-length, full-height, PCI Express x16 SLOT. Though, on some other website, I found these specs:

1 (total) / 0 (free) x CPU
1 (total) / 1 (free) x PCIe 2.0 x16 - low-profile
1 (total) / 1 (free) x PCI - low-profile

It has 1 PCI express x16 slot as required for this gpu

PCIe is not 2x4 pin, it never has been AFAIK.
You need what it says it needs.

This PSU is very low standard in comparison to todays.

Also according to the photos of that PSU, its rated at 288W @ 12v and 96W @ 3.3/5v = that doesn't add up to 600 watts.

Those mfs sold me that telling me that it can power the gpu with two 6pin. Thanks anyway.
I might return it and try to get another with a little supplement of mine.
