Hepl on whether these parts are conpatitble

hello i am new to this and have never built a computer before.
i have being researching all of my components for a while now and are eager to order as soon as possible.
my question is....

ARE ALL THESE PARTS COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 8 64BIT AND ALSO WITH EACH OTHER? i already have a hard drive from an old computer as well as a re-writer.

my 2nd question, i am going to order the windows 8 pro from microsoft upgrade as i have a windows xp disk. this disk is 32 bit. how do i know what bit i will be upgrading to as i want to 64 bit.

Asus P8H61-M LX R2.0 is for older sandy bridge, sometimes it will work but you do want the right mobo dont you?

get ane B75 or H77 chipset. any brand will do i will recommend MSI H77 since i saw it cheap on sale
