im after a new motherboard that is preferably agp and pci e for ease for later upgrading from agp card to pci e
i've found this ( asrock http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/114742) just wondering if its ne good with a core 2 duo E6300 1 gb ram, 9800 pro agp gfx (just for now) if not are there any good ones ppl recommend for under 50 quid?

It will work, but why would you want to do this?
If you want speed, then a P965 chipset board with DDR2 memory and a PCI-E videocard is the solution. You can limp by using the Asrock board but won't get the performance out of the Conroe. Then when you want the speed the money spent on the Asrock is wasted.
BTW, at ebuyer, that board is out-of-stock...

If money is really tight, you can always get a mobo with onboard video and get the video card later or look at AMD dual core, which are less expensive. What's your budget, what all do you need, and how will you use the machine?
