Anomen just died the final death (hush all you Anomen
haters - this was a sad event) and since my character
was in a romance with him I'm wondering whether I
want to continue on with my current game or start a
new one. I always start over if the romantic interest
of the PC is permanently killed but this time I'm fairly
well into the game and for some reason think I might
be able to complete it (Tactics) without my character
ever dying - which would be a first.

I realize nobody will particularly care whether I continue
on or not, but since the group is so slow I thought I'd put
the question to whoever is still looking at this group.

BTW, I've finished everything other than Guarded Compound,
Twisted Rune, Kangaxx and Bodhi before I set off for S-city.

BTW2, how common is it for you to finish Tactics without
your character suffering even one death? The best I've
managed, and this just once, was one death.

Personally I almost always play after a character dies, even a romance
character. Maybe you could try and role play it a little. What would
your character do? Something like this happened with one of my games,
were basically all the good NPCs plus love interest were killed off in
the Underdark.

To survive his most bleak moment he had to use his Slayer power. He
then slowly but inexorably turned to evil. Surrounded himself with
companions of ill repute, and in then end became the God of Murder he
was destined to be.

Try it, you'll like it.

Yeah, I decided to play through until my character dies.

You should thank the gods!

You don't have to shout... I hear you well enough. ;-)
