I just purchased a Maximus Hero VI MB and an I7 4770k CPU, The system boots and I can get in the bios but as soon as windows 7 starts I get blue screen for a split second and then restart. The computer reboots and goes to windows recovery ... after all tests the message is that a new HW was added and is not recognized and it asks me to unplug it ... The processor is recognized in the bios and everything else that I use as components work just fine with my old AMD configuration (MB and CPU). Even the ram that is used is mentioned in the compatibility list of the MB. I used the windows ram check and it turned out ok. I tried leaving just 1 ram, changing the video card, different HDDs with different windows systems (vista and 7) and I get the same blue screen and then restart immediately.
Any advice ?
