Hewlett-Packard 0a64h cpu support

Hello.
I wanted to upgrade my cpu but apparently i bought the wrong one because it doesn't fit.

The motherboard is Hewlett-Packard 0a64h http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/hewlett-packard-0a64h-specs/,it says Processor Support Socket AM2 - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon 64, Sempron.

I bought the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ - ADA6000IAA6CZ and it doesn't fit, my current CPU is AMD Sempron 64 3600+ - SDA3600IAA3CN.

So my question is what cpus fit in the motherboard, am I only limited to cpus related to AMD Sempron 3600+ (CN) or can I upgrade to let say AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+?

Its an old HP dc5750 Microtower I just want to upgrade it a little bit, on the other hand I'm building a budget PC, sorry for my bad English it's not my native language.😀

HP says this:
Processor Support Socket AM2 - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon 64, Sempron

Which I can see why this happened, there is no actual CPU support! Just the types of CPU but not the model number.

I would suggest that you go for a different motherboard entirely, and maybe a CPU with it also.

Well, I can't return it but probably I can re-sell it.

I'm building a budget PC and I already have a rig for it, but this HP dc5750 I want to give it to my mother so she can practice excel, word etc.

Any kind of dual core would be great,I guess ill have to find out more about this motherboard.
