I just bought a Hewlett Packard Photosmart 945 ($249).
Does anyone else own this camera? Comments?
It seems to have great power in its simplicity of operation.

Funny. Consumer reports lists 60 shots as the maximum for the 945 on a set
of batteries. I got 130, and many of them were with flash and movies! I use
NiMH rechargables.

That would surprise me very much .. maybe they speak about alkalines ?
With my HP912 I could easily get between 150-200 shots on one NiMH
charge and the 912 was known to be extremely power "hungry" .. but
then I never had to use the LCD because of the outstanding TTL
viewfinder .. wish they made P&S cams with this type of viewfinder
these days instead of that stupid little piece of optical "magnifying
glass" 🙂
