That would surprise me very much .. maybe they speak about alkalines ?
With my HP912 I could easily get between 150-200 shots on one NiMH
charge and the 912 was known to be extremely power "hungry" .. but
then I never had to use the LCD because of the outstanding TTL
viewfinder .. wish they made P&S cams with this type of viewfinder
these days instead of that stupid little piece of optical "magnifying
glass"
