Hey All, need a second opinion.

So this is my 10th build or so...and something has gone wrong after about a month or so of using it.

Specs:
MSI Z270 Gaming M6 Motherboard
Corsair RM 750x
Corsair H100i v2
Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB SSD
WD Blue Caviar 1TB HDD
Core i7 6700k
Corsair Vengeance Led Red 16GB 2100MHZ RAM
GTX 980 Nvidia Reference Card
Occulus Rift with 3 sensors

So here is the story, the USB 3.0 front panel i/o wasn't connected, so I had to use a USB C converter to attach the third occulus rift sensor. The Occulus rift is very demanding in terms of USB 3.0 ports and power. Everything worked smoothly for a month and a half or so, until I added a new hard drive to take the load off my SSD. One day my computer just wouldn't boot up, and went into a Boot loop, the blue CMOS reset button was blinking rapidly.

Here is what I have done so far:
-Remove both SSD and HDD
-Remove graphics Card
-Remove Occulus Rift
-Plugged in the power cable directly into a wall outlet
-I also reconnected all cables to make sure they were inserted properly

My thoughts:
-It probably isn't the CPU seeing as in the past 10 years, I have never had a intel CPU crap out on me
-It's not the cooler
-It's not the GPU
-It's not a software issue, as the hard drives were removed, CMOS reset, and the boot loop was still occuring
-Not the power supply, corsair power supplies are built pretty tough, although the fully modular ones I believe weren't as efficient as the semi modular ones
-When it was looping or something half turned on, only some of the fans were working, this initially led me to think it was a power supply issue, but then on recollection, I realized only the fans that were directly powered by the PSU were rotating, the ones connected to the motherboard were not cycling.

I think having too many items plugged into the motherboard, it's too demanding possibly? Especially since I didn't use the front panel i/o and plugged everything on the back?

Here is why I think it's the motherboard, the front panel i.o doesn't work, the motherboard also probably is overloaded by the number of attachments / load on the main jacks in the back (I"m literally using every single USB slot / VR USB 3.0 Port), and the DIM slot 4 was not working properly, as soon as I removed my ram stick and inserted it into the 3rd slot, the PC started booting up again. It's strange though, because this morning I inserted back into the 4th slot and everything seems fine again, last time this happened my PC ended up crashing with the WHEA UnCorrectable Error. Last but not least when it was semi turned on and came out of the loop but was still showing black screens, I realized that only the CPU fans directly powered by the motherboard were not rotating, but the ones connected directly to the PSU were cycling. I also went back to the site, and looked at some of the DOA reviews left by others, and a few had similar occurrences to mine. I don't have any advanced tools to individually check my components like my PSU, but this is the best deductions I can make from a semi superficial level. I also don't have spare parts on hand to replace individually until I can find the exact problem. It's strange though, prior to the VR headset, the PC ran smoothly through a prime 95 test set on 6 hours, I monitored temps, voltage etc. This started happening once I added the second hard drive, I think the motherboard just couldn't handle all the components, even after removing the HDD it was still looping.

I also ran memtest, 0 errors pass completed. Also I checked the wattage calculator and all my parts, would only total to 450 watts and tops, I have a 750 watt platinum psu so I don't think that's the problem either.
