Looking to buy gtx 970.
Can you please tell me if my stock motherboard can support this gfx

Motherboard: MCP61PM-HM (Nettle3)
Processor amd x4 9650 phenom 2.3 ghz
Psu crosshair 450w






Cpu is hp pavilion a6660in.

An Olde Original Phenom! And, yes, the power supply is likely questionable, and if I recall correctly the PCIe x16 slot is Gen1.

It will work IF it will fit --- there is likely less than 10 inches of room between the back of the case and the HDD bays (so the PSU may be the least of your problems ...)
