Hey companies, 'sup with your smart phone selling?

Smart phones: those amazing devices we carry with us everywhere. Some pay $$$$; some pay $$, some are content others want more, some are big; some are small, etc. What I am really looking for is 'Okay Mr Big Corp, you have gotten smart phones as thin as possible, you have desktop grade cpu's in them, amazing gpu's with 4k screens, daul band wifi, 4G LTE, dozens of gigs of storage, why do you cheap out at the battery?

Is it thickness? I and many others wouldn't mind a phone thicker if it had 2x battery life. Hence why we buy battery extender cases.

Is it price? Come on you spend some much in every other area. I think it is time the battery recieved an update.

energy density? Hmm tablets seem to do very well and they pack a ton more juice in a tight spot.

look at the size of a 10" tablet vs a 5" phone. Of course the battery does better, it's like 4x the size. Current battery technology is about what it is. They can only pack so many mAh per square inch as possible. People talk and hold their phones all day, they want it light, so thats why the "thin" craze is in.

Another ounce or 2 wouldn't bother me or a lot of other people and a couple mm thicker isn't the end if it meant 2x the battery. Hence people buy battery extender cases.
