[SOLVED] Hey everyone very new here got a quick question regarding gsync and vsync.

Is it true I should have vertical sync in nvidia control panel on and gsync on as well but in game ofc turn of vsync and limit my fps to below my refresh rate of my monitor so like 141 or less since im using a 144hz? And apparently that makes it so it only uses gync?

If you don't know what im talking about.

And Gsync. Can both be found in the nvidia control panel.

I also have someone else telling me to just have vertical sync in nvidia control panel just off.

It depends on the game and your eyes on what looks best. Try different combinations and see which you like best.

Personally I leave that global vsync option disabled and enable Gsync and if I decide I want vsync I enable it in the game, that way it only affects that game and not others.
