Hey! GPU and motherboard suggestion please

Hey,

I was going to buy the gtx 980 singly from scan.co.uk and the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

but on scan they offer a little bundle, and i worked out that buying the gpu and motherboard is around the same price! so guys, is this a good buy and if so which one shall i go for, or shall i buy them singly, one from scan one from amazon.

The GTX 980 isn't worth its price. It's only about 10% faster than the 970 and that is much more aggressive in pricing.

If your gonna go for a bundle, the MSi is the better bet.

whats the different between the z97xgigabye and the z97 msi
also will this motherboard and graphisc card fit in my

fractal design r4 case?

ah okay then cool, and im assuming that with the ports on the 980 it has the same holes on the motherboard?

also i bought the enermax t40 black twiter, will this fit on my motherboard okay including g skill 16gb dual kit ram?

The board is great. No doubt about it.

Right now, the only GTX 980 available is the Gainward model off Scan. Wait a week and gun for the MSI Gaming GTX 980.

Okay well imma go for evga instead because its good, so imma go with gigabyte board and evga
