Build 1, a 9/10:
-RTX 2080 is overpriced, due to no longer being in production. Was replaced by the 2070 Super.
-Overspending in areas(mobo, SSD, cpu cooler)... probably for aesthetics, like the cpu cooler?

Build 2, a 9.5/10:
-Overspending in areas(mobo, SSD, cpu cooler, case)... probably for aesthetics?

yeah she likes the lights i'm mainly building them to try and play CP2077 when it drops at some point and yeah for the aesthetics though if i can get the same value in ssd i wouldn't mind getting a cheaper one

I had to check, since I'm a performance first, looks are 'meh', kind of guy.
If looks are what's up, then they're also fine in performance. As for the SSDs:

500GBs:
Crucial P1 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive or Crucial MX500 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Western Digital Blue 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive or Western Digital Blue 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Intel 660p 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

1TB: practically the same models.

Keep in mind the 2070 Super instead of that 2080 though.

If you can compromise, Ok. If not, at least the 2x side fans(intake) and a rear fan(exhaust).
