Hey guys, thinking about getting a second monitor but unsure how I would connect both to my card.

Hey so as the title says i'm not sure what the best way to connect 2 monitors. Should I use one HDMI and one DVI or should I try find a good DVI splitter. However I tried looking for good DVI splitters but can't seem to find any good ones which have solid reviews, would be thankful if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

What GPU are you plugging them into? if you have a HDMI and DVI slot free that will do just fine.

depends on if your GPU has more then one port. i currently have 2 monitors going where i have one plugged into a HDMI port and the other plugged into a DVI port

1070 yeah it has both of those slots, so I guess i'll use HDMI and DVI although isn't HDMI limited to 60 fps?

You could daisy chain them using displayports.

HDMI 1.3 and newer can support 144Hz.
