Hey!

Im looking for a new card, my old (560 ti 1gig) is getting quite slow ^^, what would you guys pref, wating for the 300 series, or take r9 290x / 970 gtx? Anyone that know how long i would have too wait for the r300 series? If i decide to wait?

I got a budget of 480-500 $(US) ( Anyone knows the prices for the 390x cards?)

My tech is :
CPU: AMD FX-8320 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core @ 4.5 ghz (Why Upgrade?)
PSU: Fractal Design Integra R2 750W 80+ Bronze
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G46
Ram: Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz 4GB CL9 x2
Win 7 Ult
GPU: 560 Ti 1Gig twin frozr

Need more info, just ask

(and sorry for all the bad english)

Cheers Robin

We do understand that. But the CPU you have is of a higher 125 Watts TDP. If you change it with a 95Watts TDP CPU, like FX 8320E or 8370E, you will get enough hearroom for ocing to higher level or enough power freed up for a good powerful GPU without loosing out on the core count.

Aha, now i understand, but what shall i choose? I read alot about that 0.5 gig loss on that 970, (3.5+0.5 gig) You guys think the r390 will start at 500$ (US) or higher? Can my PSU manage that? And so on. r380 isen't even too think about or? I haven't found r9 290x at so low lvls of price some is saying, is still at about 350$ (US) in our Swedish onlineshops :/

U got any idea when r300 series comes out? All sites says different :/

Thanks for all your time! And it's going too be intresting if they get out in market this year 😉

If im going to decide between gtx 970 and r9 290x what had you choose? (wanna get quite low temps + playing in 1080p and high/ultra, games as: LoL, (Streaming LoL), Metro (games), and others, and get good fps in new games.
