Hey I got a question again about my OS

Hey, I was trying to play some games but it started out with my ram not giving out enough memory. However I was told it was OS, but for some reason when I did all that updating the memory was still at 2.2 GB and there was still a 13.8 on reserved. So while I was looking up more info about system it tells me two different things.

The setting (System type): 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor

System Information: X86-based PC

Right now I am loss, but I can do everything else on this computer besides playing games like battlefield, destiny, or any other high AAA game.

a 32-bit OS can only address 3.5GB RAM, any RAM beyond that is unusable.
You need to install windows 64-bit and it will allow addressing of 8TB RAM

With 32bit OS you can access no more than 4GB of ram. Usually it's less than that.
To access more than 4GB of ram, 64bit OS is required.

Migration from 32bit to 64bit requires complete OS reinstall. Backup your user data, format OS partition and install 64bit OS.

You mind providing some sort of link on what 64bit OS I have to get, because I clearly don't know.

are you running windows?
windows has been available in both 32-bit and 64-bit variants since windows XP.
if you want windows 8 get windows 8 64-bit
same for whichever version of windows you want, 7 64 bit, 10 64 bit.

Almost every linux distribution now is 64 bit only

most do not need pro.

Well I'm running a Windows 10 home but I don't know if I should get the pro version or not.

If you're running windows 10 Home, then just install windows 10 home 64bit.
Download iso file from microsoft, use rufus to create bootable usb media.

Windows 10 Pro will require a new license.
