Basically every motherboard from 2012 or so later will be compatible with every modern GPU. This kind of compatibility hasn't been an issue for a long time.

The better questions is whether the GT 1030 is a good fit for your needs and for your other parts. That will require far more information than you have provided. At least a GT 1030 will work with some pretty terrible PSUs, so that's probably not a significant issue either (though, again, the information should always be provided).

from where did you buy the GT 1030? Brand new or used?

and from where did you get the installer? Did you get it from the official Nvidia website?
