Hey, I work in IT and i absolutely love gaming. I got tired of the usual PC case and lighting so i got a bunch of inspiration from the L3p D3sk and other PC / Desk Mods and i wanted to start my own. Problem is i dont really know much about liquid cooling and about woodworking/metal working and was wondering if there was someone who was experienced and willing to chat with me help me come up with ways to do this!

I have a lot of ideas id love to implement into this desk idea and im just looking for someone who is interested in the same thing and is willing to help a Noob in need! i am willing to pay for someones time as long as its actually getting things done.

Any one here have the patience to help me out?

I have the patience but I'm not going to charge you - the info here on Tom's is free and service given on Tom's is free. Period.

I'm an architect and I've designed a couple of workstations - just about to begin work on a new one for a SFF system. It's not necessarily a system within a table but a system on the table - and in a compact form factor to warrant a large table top with minimal ground usage.

I'd like to put a word of caution out to you and those interested in building a rig+a workstation:
You need to find the dimensions to your keyboard and monitor heights to prevent back injury and muscle and attention fatigue.

This link will help you understand the appropriate dimensions - however there's one other point to...

This link will help you understand the appropriate dimensions - however there's one other point to note - some of the numbers need a lil manipulating since you might have a different posture while gaming/typing or even sitting upright. Having your arms at 30+"'s all the time will cause fatigue in your triceps area.

Hope these help in moving your work forward - I'd also like to suggest you sit with a blank mind and some paper in front of you - jog up some ideas and move onwards.

Solution
Liquid cooling and desk idea's and design I'm good to help with, I have experience in both.
Actual wood/metal work, I cant really help with that. If your money is going anywhere for this, let it go to a tradie rather than us.

Heres a good source of even more logs, Bit-Tech has a fairly active Modding community including a lot of cases built from scratch.

This was when I was looking for feedback on a custom desk for a design project, might be useful.
