Hello my name is Mark, i have just put together a brand new pc build. My issue is my games keep freezing or crashing and i don't know why, i will detail below my build specs and it's baffling as to why they would crash or freeze they run like butter and i get frames of 150 to 200 on 144hz moniter.
Windows 10 64 bit
Intel i9 9900k coffee lake 8 core 1151
MSI RTX GAMING X TRIO NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2080 8GB
MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC
Samsung 500gb 970 evo plus m.2 pcie
Corsair vengeance rgb pro 16gb memory
Seagate 2tb 3.5 hdd
Corsair H100i pro 240mm AOI liquid cooling
Riotoro 750w gold psu fully modular power supply
Literally when i loaded up most of my games the recommended default settings was max everything and they ran buttery smooth with very high fps as i said between 150 to 200 so it's baffling.
Now i'm a noob that's why i'm asking the issue couldnt be that the display port connector on the gpu is display port 1.4 i'm using a 1.2 cable??
Any help would be grateful thanks again.
