So I have two options for SSDs.

A 120 GB $20 SSD from AliExpress, (I can use a $5 coupon to make it $20) or a 120 GB $30 Kingston SSD from Amazon.

Here are the links

AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001043067846.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.3ab53c009ptQYR&mp=1

Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01N6JQS8C/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1

Everything is in Canadian dollars. (CAD)

Edit: The cheapest SSD above 120 GB is a $40 drive, which is slightly out of budget.

Edit 2: I could get a 240GB SSD from AliExpress for $33, but I want to know if I can rely on the drive.

I dont have the exact Kingston SSD that you are referring to here. But I'm using an older 120GB SSD from them and I...

I dont have the exact Kingston SSD that you are referring to here. But I'm using an older 120GB SSD from them and I have nothing but praise for their SSD's based on my own experience. Cant say that I have experienced any drop in performance or failure over the years. However I use it as a boot up drive and for some other small size things. So its a safe choice from my point of view.

If your intention is to play games then a 100 GB is not enough for the task as stated above. RDR2 as an extreme example requires 150 GB. Just to give you an idea.

I have no experience with the SSD from AliExpress so I cant share any thoughts about it.
