The CPU goes with the motherboard, but just about everything else won't or is being wasted.

4th Gen intel uses DDR3, the specs say 1600 MHz, but you can go for faster, I know 2133 MHz works.
The motherboard's M.2 slot is not compatible with modern NVME drives, just use a SATA SSD.
An RTX 4070 is way too much for this build....my old 4790K build has a GTX 1070 and it struggles to fully use it.

1) That motherboard does not take DDR4
2) I wouldn't bother with an NVME drive on that old of a motherboard since it wouldn't be able to make use of the speed (nor do I think it would even work). You'd be better off with a regular SATA 2.5" drive.
3) Why do you specifically want to use the 4790K?
well, I plan on using a build that can smash games for at least like 5 years. and i run some trading software for stocks that requires a little more cpu i think. what do you recommend? i like intel and i have about 2500 im willing to spend.. little more little less is fine and I'm overwhelmed at all the options and realize this is way out of my knowledge.. any recommendations?

much appreciated,
Pat

You can go with the build above.

If you needed more CPU this is an alternative:
