Well basically currently i have a Chieftec gp500-a 80+ 500W, with my rig being -
Mobo - Asrock h310m
CPU - i5-8400
GPU - Palit GTX 1060 6GB Storm X
Ram - 16 DDR4 at 2666MHz ( Goodram brand)
1TB 7200RPM HDD Toshiba
128gb SSD from kingston

But i want to upgrade to an RTX 2070 ( i know, rtx might not be worth it but i'm a believer), i was just wondering which PSU would fit the best for me since i'm looking to get a i5-9600k In the not so near future too. Would love some advice ! My budget is not that high for a psu probably around $80-$100 ( AT MAX $100, would love it if we don't exactly hit a 100.)

A quality 450W unit would be more than sufficient for what you have now.

BUT, with the upgrades, especially with the 9600K if you intend to overclock (or are you keeping the same board?), I'd probably lean towards a quality 550W for comfort.

Where are you located? Assuming in the US, there's no shortage of options within (and below) your budget.

The Focus+ Platinum 550W is only in there because it's the same price as the Gold unit.

I'm located in Bulgaria ( Eastern Europe ), and PSU prices or mostly PC components are much higher priced than in the US, the PSU that Blackbird suggested actually costs around $140 to me, also no i won't be keeping the board will most likely go with a Z390 to overclock !

With overclocking, I'd aim for 550W.... 650W, depending on price.

175W TDP card though, and a 95W chip... Even +overclocking, a >450W draw seems unlikely.

Do you have a preferred website?

Found the CX550M for 135Lev / ~$80 USD, so there's definitely 'good' units within budget.

The site we usually use for searching the cheapest components is pazaruvaj.com, basically searches for you through their partnered websites ( some components may not be available there tho). Thank you for that corsair unit, i am looking for some quality brands that i know ARE good. Would have missed that PSU without your help ! Do you really think 550W will be enough tho ? People told me that a 650W is the most desired wattage if i'm aiming for the upgrades/oc'ing that i described.
