I was miss sold HGST A7K2000 instead of a 7K3000. Been told I can get a refund or part refund of £10(UK) and keep the drive, bought for £80.
Question is should I keep it.
I knew I might end up in this situation at that price but was worth the punt.

Both are 2tb enterprise drives.
The real difference is the a7k2000 is 3Gb/s and 32mb cache instead of 6gb/s and 64MB.
Will I really notice the difference because I can't find an A7K2000 for less than £90 anyway? And I already have a SSD this is just for storage.
Or should I call out what is a possible scam?
Thanks

Yeah I am very dubious too but recieved a prompt and profesional reply. It's still sealed in its packaging and HGST has limited info on enterprise packaging(Definately legitimate though) i only knew it was wrong drive after checking product code on it as there is no 7K3000 on it.
I will be checking with trading standards but still wondering on the difference. Thanks
