I have a couple of questions.

1: How would I use my Xbox on my monitor???
2: I am wanting new speakers but I’m not sure if they will work with my sound card???

I have a “NEC/MITSUBISHI FE991SB-BK 19” monitor and I am looking at getting a “Logitech X-530 5.1” set of speakers also I have a “Creative SB Live! Value” sound card.

Monitor: http://www.necmitsubishi.com/products/ProductDetail.cfm?Product=214&ClassificationFamily=1&Classification=1

Speakers: http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2177,CONTENTID=9067

Sound Card: Can’t seem to find anything on it…How would I check the specs on my computer???

Regards

From there you can get both the drivers and the documentation for you SB Live Value.

Do you want the 5.1 for gaming or for movies?

I am guessing the SB Live Value doesn't do analog 5.1.

You may want a new graphics card to go with those speakers.

If you are a mainly a gamer than a Audigy 2 Value or ZS (DTS support) are the best choice.

The SB live value will not do 5.1. The SB live 5.1 will.
I would definatly get at least an audigy 2 value though. It is worth every penny when you have a set of 5.1 computer speakers.

There are adaptors avaliable to convert your xbox output to standard VGA. Something like this:
<A HREF="http://www.xbreporter.com/xbox_vga_adapter.php" target="_new">http://www.xbreporter.com/xbox_vga_adapter.php</A>
<A HREF="http://www.chipzone.com/shop/showdetl.cfm?DID=12&Product_ID=283" target="_new">http://www.chipzone.com/shop/showdetl.cfm?DID=12&Product_ID=283</A>

Just do a google search for xbox vga or something. Any sort of component video to vga converter box should work.
