Hi all. I have this HP ProOne 400G1 AIO that had ita power adaptor wet and blew up. Now i trued a 3.45A HP power adaptor and I keep getting 4 Red beeps on power button when i plug in power. New RAM installed but no difference. FAN spinning and CD ROM light flashing but nothing else happening except for tge 4 red beeps. Any ideas on where the issue on tye motherboard is?

6.45A 19V. Yes it's possible as thats was after the issue started. PSU built into motherboard so its complicated to isolate the problem section on the board as everything seems to be working well. ATX power led is on. Power led is on on the board and no components heating up to indicate short.

The first problem is that you are using an adapter with half the amperage of the original unit.

With DC devices, you want to try to match or exceed the Ah rating of the power source being replaced. In some cases, but not all, you can even vary the voltage just a smidge. I am not sure I would try so on such an expensive item though.

You need to find a 6.45A19VDC or higher Ah rating power supply.
