So I know that an M.2 Solid State Drive is roughly 1500read + 1000write & is a lot faster than a normal SSD 500read + 500write
& I know that Samsung [Evo 850] has a newer 860 out ..but on Ebay there's an M2 Evo850 [250GB] in an enclosure with a USB3 connector
..So0o0 will an M.2SSD thru USB3 make it slower than a normal M2 thru a 1x PCI-X I would think so but I'm out of the PC loop.
any help is appreciated.. 0range.

So USB 3.0 has a theoretical speed limit of 625MB/s, PCIE X1 is 250MB/s, USB 3.2,[Sep 2017] introduces two new SuperSpeed+ transfer modes over the USB-C connector with data rates of 10 and 20 Gbit/s (1.25 and 2.5 GB/s). The increase in bandwidth is a result of multi-lane operation over existing wires that were intended for flip-flop capabilities of the Type-C connector

So the oblong M2 SSD card within a USB3 enclosure ..in theory will be a lot faster?
So why don't We have Our Primary O.S. Drives connected by USB3?
