Hi Asrock n68 vs3 fx Boot Problem

Hi Everone

Im doing a cheap build from a friend the spec are below . Il set it all up but nothing is showing on the screen at all. I didnt think that this setup would need a graphics card or am i wrong ? if it dont need a graphics card then what eles could the problem be

19" HTC screen
Galaxy 3 gaming case
Asrock n68 vs3 fx motherboard
fx 4130 cpu
4 gb drr 3 ram
1tb hdd

There are integrated (onboard) graphics with that board so if your Monitor's cable is properly attached to the motherboard and monitor, you should have a display. Are all your power connectors properly secured on the motherboard?

Hi

Yes they was done correctly i have just found out. The MB can only support up to 95W cpu, and the fx4130 has the 125W TDP. So they are not compatible that why nothing shows up.

is that correct ? thanks
