[SOLVED] hi. can i reduce the CAS latency on this RAM ?

HI and Good day to everyone reading this. i have a question. i recently just build a really budget build as my finance wont allow me to get a better spec. this is the best i can get in my country with my finances. my spec is

Processor : AMD Athlon 3000g (Overclocked to 3.9Ghz)
Cooler : Stock Cooler Ryzen 3600
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450m DS3H
RAM : ADATA Premier DDR4 2666 unbuffered x4 (Total 16gb)
PSU : Cooler Master CM460W

and my question is can i lower the CAS latency on this particular ram ? at first i bought 2x4gb. but then someone was selling another 2x4gb for half the original price, so i bought it. now i have 16gb. i heard lowering the CAS latency will make the RAM perform better.

There is very little speed boost with lowering CAS latency, and it's usually tied to the RAM type and speed. Don't bother with it, without a benchmark you won't be able to tell the difference.
