So I am a graphic designer and video editor and in my spare time I enjoy playing some games like Rocket League or Warzone so I decided I needed to upgrade my i3 9100f so I got the motherboard which supports 12th gen but now i need to decide what cpu would suffice and also not to bottleneck my gpu which is 1650 SUPER Gigabyte

So its a dilemma here because i think i3 12100f would not be enough for multithread demanding programs like After Effects and Illustrator and on the other side , i think the i5 12400f would be a bottleneck in the system, so which one should i choose for editing and do a little bit of gaming?, is my GPU is not enough for i5 12400f?, or is the i3 12100f a good option anyways? , your feedback is valuable to me because i am struggling with this for a long time , so let me know your opinions, thanks so much for the tips!

My Build:
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1650 SUPER 4GB
CPU: ?
RAM: 2x8GB HyperX Fury 2666 MHZ
PSU: Corsair CV Series 550W 80 Plus Bronze
Motherboard: Gigabyte H610M H DDR4
SSD: Kingston A400 240GB
NVME: Kingston NV2 1TB M.2 NVME
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

there always going to bottleneck somewhere depend on what you are doing or app/game
get the best you can afford
Yes but i would really want to know what cpu would do less bottleneck, and if it worths to go to the i5 instead of the i3 for editing, would the i5 and 1650S make a good duo?
