Building my first "budget" gaming pc and just wanted to know if everything is compatible. also if you have any recommendations on a tower for the build as well. Thanks

GPU - Asus HD 7870
MOBO - Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 AMD
CPU - AMD FX 6300
PSU - Seasonic M12ii - 620W
RAM - G-Skill EL11 sniper series 4gb*2 (2133Mhz)
HDD - WD Blue 1TB
SSD - Corsair 60GB

Any extra info is welcome

That gaming rig is very balanced, my suggestion would be to downgrade the RAM from 2133Mhz to 1600Mhz, there's barely any difference in gameplay since 1600mhz is already very fast for nowadays. You could use the leftover money to get a bigger SSD.

For the tower, if you don't care about looks, get the cheapest case you can get. Computers don't require high tech cases. Hell, I'm running a computer inside a lego case!

Ill look around for a good 1600mhz mem deal, thanks. And here in South Africa the SSD's are ridiculously priced. That 60 gb SSD is the same price as the WD 1TB HDD. Maybe ill wait a bit for some deals for the ssd.
Has the PSU got the two power connectors for the 7870? Not too clued up on psu's

According to the official website, this PSU packs a 6 pin connector and a 6+2pin connector, which is basically a 6 pin connector with 2 pins on a different wire. This PSU can power a 7870.

To get an even bigger SSD, you can use the money saved from the memory ram and downgrade the 1TB to 500 GB, if you're the average user.

If you're going to record videos or going to do something that requires a lot of space, then stick with the 60GB + 1TB option.
