Question Hi guys !

i have a gigabyte core i7 desktop and when i am turning it on fans are starting and power is coming to the board but OS is not loading after 4 or 5 time pressing the power button OS is loading , so what could be the problem and i have insatalled 6 GB ram in my desktop but when i am checking it in CPU-Z software it shows 6 GB but in run (dxdiag) it shows 2815MB ??????????

No it is not a new rig i am using from this desktop from last 5 years it was working fine but from last 3 months this problem is happened .
it's full specs are:
Intel core i7 gen 3
i am using from windows XP in this desktop
installed ram is 6 GB
